AVR-Events: Save the date

Postponed does not mean cancelled, and this is also true of the Roche Employees’ Association (AVR) events that could not be held in the first half of 2020 due to the pandemic. New dates have already been scheduled for some of them:

• Bike to work, the campaign aimed at encouraging people to cycle to work, will now take place in September and October 2020. Teams have until 31 August to sign up. The precise terms and conditions and the registration form can be found at www.biketowork.ch
• The 70th AVR Annual General Meeting: it is not yet clear whether the anniversary AGM will be held without participants in August or whether it will be postponed until Wednesday, 4 November 2020, when it will take place as always in the Auditorium of Building 1 in Basel. The Executive Committee of the AVR will inform you in plenty of time.
• The AVR welcome receptions for new Roche employees will only begin at the start of 2021.
• THE Party has been postponed by a year until Friday, 25 June 2021.
• A new date has not yet been scheduled for the film evening, when the AVR intends to show the popular movie The Green Book.
