Exercise, team spirit and fun – that's bike to work!

Dear friends of Bike to Work

In many areas of life, getting plenty of exercise is becoming increasingly important. Biking to work is a built-in daily fitness programme – it's healthy, inexpensive and environmentally friendly. This is why F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd is taking part in the Bike to Work Challenge this year once again. We invite you to cycle to work in May and June and get involved in the Bike to Work Challenge 2022.
Various activities will be taking place during this period in collaboration with the Roche Mobility Team. Curious to find out what they are? Wait and see!

How it works
Are you taking part for the first time?
Create a profile under "F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG" and join in.

If you already have a profile, log in now. You then have the following three options:

  1. Create a team and invite your colleagues.
  2. If there are any teams with free spaces, the team marketplace will appear automatically on the Team page. So you can send a request to ride with a team.
  3. Wait until you are invited to join a team.

Here are the rules.
Important: Bike rides on non-working days cannot be entered. You must therefore always enter “grey” “Not a working day” on the days you do not work (days off, holidays, illness or other absence). Grey days are neutral and are not evaluated for the draw.

Working from home?
Exceptional times require special measures. You can therefore enter your private bike rides in the calendar on the days you work from home. If you are working from home, you can enter your bike rides as “green” in the calendar. If you don't ride your bike on the days you work from home, you must enter these as “red”.

Win great prizes!
Taking part in Bike to Work not only guarantees fun and fitness, it also means you are eligible to win some great prizes in a draw. Simply register and ride, and anyone who uses their bike on more than 50% of their work days will be automatically entered into the big draw! There are also prizes for teams. Here too, all teams of four who all meet the 50% rule will take part in the draw.

Accompanying activities by the AVR

In the saddle, set, go!
