Fit for spring with the AVR and Migros fitness facilities
Spring is just around the corner. So it’s high time to shed those pounds gained during the winter. What better way than with Migros’ fitness facilities? Migros runs a total of five fitness centres in and around Basel – the Heuwaage Fitnesspark in Basel, the Clarastrasse Fitness Centre in Basel, the Niederholz Fitness Centre in Riehen, the Aquabasilea Fitness Centre in Pratteln, and the Fitness Centre in Frenkendorf. The Roche Employees' Association (AVR) has therefore negotiated attractive discounts with these Migros fitness facilities. With immediate effect, all active and retired AVR members and all members of the Roche Retirees' Association (PVR) will receive a 15 and 10 percent discount respectively on four different annual passes.
One highlight has to be the “FitPlus” BasileaCard, with which you can visit all five Migros fitness facilities in the region for just CHF 1147.50 instead of CHF 1350, get a really good workout in group classes and on the equipment, and also use the water and wellness world at Aquabasilea.
For people who just want to train, there’s either the BasileaCard “Fit”, which includes entry to all five Migros fitness centres (CHF 1011.50 instead of CHF 1190 per year) or the “Fit Plus” fitness centre subscription including group classes (CHF 891 instead of CHF 990) and the “Fit” fitness centre subscription excluding group classes (CHF 801 instead of CHF 890), both of which only exclude the Heuwaage site.
All AVR and PVR members who sign up for one of these discounted contracts before the end of April 2020 will also receive a CHF 50 voucher off food and drink at Migros fitness facilities in the Basel region.
What's special about all these discounts is that they are open not only to AVR and PVR members themselves, but also their partners. After all, it's easier to motivate yourself as a couple, and relaxing together afterwards, for instance in the world of water and wellness at the Heuwaage Fitnesspark, is even more fun.
