CSS Insurance is our new health partner

The Roche Employees’ Association (AVR) is pleased to announce that CSS Insurance is our new health insurance partner. CSS is one of Switzerland’s leading insurers with agencies throughout the country, offering a wide range of innovative solutions and resources to support your health. The AVR has concluded a new framework agreement for supplementary health insurance in collaboration with CSS.

Your benefits
As an AVR member, you, your spouse/partner and any children living in the same household (up to the age of 25) can benefit from attractive preferential conditions on selected supplementary health insurance plans.

Change health insurer without a medical exam
We have reached the agreement with CSS that AVR members and their relatives can switch over to CSS Insurance without the usually required medical examination. This transfer offer entails the transfer of your existing insurance cover with your current insurer to a comparable supplementary insurance product from CSS. The transfer deal is valid until 31 December 2020 for Roche employees, who register as AVR members by 31 December 2020, and their relatives.

Note the notice periods
When switching over to CSS, the termination of your existing policy must be received by your current insurer no later than 30. September. CSS would be pleased to take care of any formalities involved in changing your insurer.
