Do you know about the blood bank?

The development of the blood donation pool, administration of the blood donations, blood collection, donor checkups and blood screening constitute an extra service provided by Medical Services Roche Basel/Kaiseraugst. And the research groups at the site certainly appreciate being able to draw fresh blood from the in-house blood bank, confirms Dr Thanh Hoai Huynh. The Roche company doctor manages the blood bank, assisted by medical practice assistant Vanessa Zwierza.

204 donors are currently registered in the blood donor pool. What motivates most people to get involved is the desire to actively support research at Roche.

Many of the AVR Committee members share this motivation. Perhaps you feel the same, and would be interested in registering with the blood donor pool. Each donor receives a meal and dessert voucher as a token of appreciation.
