Election results for the 71st Annual General Meeting of the AVR
The votes cast on the resolutions were obtained from the active members via Google Form. Retirees had the opportunity to submit their votes by post. AVR President Adnan Tanglay was pleased about the overall election turnout of almost 15.5% and announced the results as follows:
Item 1:
Minutes of the 70th AGM of 13 October 2020
The minutes were approved, with 1,271 voting Yes, 0 voting No and 27 abstentions, and thanks were expressed.
Item 3:
President’s annual report for 2020
The President’s annual report for 2020 was approved by the active members, with 840 voting Yes, 3 voting No and 48 abstentions.
Item 6:
Treasurer’s and Auditors’ Report
The Treasurer’s and Auditors’ Reports were both approved with 1,268 voting Yes, 4 voting No and 61 abstentions.
Item 6.1:
Setting the membership fee for 2022
The annual membership fee was approved for another year at CHF 20.00 by the active members, with 869 voting Yes, 9 voting No and 13 abstentions.
Item 7:
Elections of Supervisory Board members
Ms Alice Unglaub was re-elected, with 1,289 voting Yes, 6 voting No and 41 abstentions.
Mr Felix Gruber was re-elected, with 1,287 voting Yes, 7 voting No and 41 abstentions.
Ms Lara Ledermann was elected as the successor to Mr Mauro Visentin, with 1,266 voting Yes, 11 voting No and 57 abstentions.
Elections of auditors
Mr Uwe Kieselbach was re-elected, with 1,282 voting Yes, 8 voting No and 45 abstentions.
Mr Stefan Dauer was elected as the successor to Mr Hugo Bloch, with 1,264 voting Yes, 10 voting No and 60 abstentions.
Dr Lars Tröndlin was elected as the successor to Dr. Martin Studer, with 1,243 voting Yes, 11 voting No and 73 abstentions.
As a result, all candidates were elected and confirmed for a further period of office. The AVR President thanked all those departing and congratulated those newly elected or re-elected.
Item 8:
Agenda item submitted by the deadline
As no agenda items were submitted to the AVR Secretariat by 26 February 2021 (deadline), there were no votes on this agenda item.
