Dear learners - welcome!

On behalf of the AVR, I extend a warm welcome to you in the new academic year. We particularly welcome the new first-year apprentices and hope that you have settled in well.

We would like to give you the opportunity to find out what we do at the AVR and to introduce you to the AVR’s services.

The abbreviation “AVR” stands for the Roche Employees Association, which is our company’s employee representative organisation. The AVR supports all Roche employees in a variety of ways, e.g. by providing consultations or helping them to achieve better conditions. Members of the Roche Employees Association also benefit from additional offers, such as the Swibeco platform, which provides many discounts for members. It goes without saying that this also includes us apprentices. We therefore encourage you to join the AVR. If you have any questions regarding your apprenticeship or the company, please do not hesitate to contact us. Either I or one of the other site representatives will find a solution. We look forward to you joining and hope that you get off to a good start in your apprenticeship. Here’s to an even more promising future for you and us!
